Yes, completely. Most couples don’t. Bring the feeling, a few ideas, and whatever you do know (a season, a place you love, a rough guest count). I’ll ask the right questions, help you narrow it down, and turn it into a plan that feels simple and doable.

Absolutely. I’ll support you with location ideas, timeline guidance, and the logistics that help the day flow. Think pacing, light, getting from point A to point B without stress, and building a plan that leaves room for real moments instead of rushing from thing to thing.
Do you help with planning?
That’s more common than not. You won’t be left guessing, and you won’t be “posed” the whole time either. I’ll give gentle direction and simple prompts when it helps, then step back so things can unfold naturally. Most of the best photos happen once you realize you don’t have to perform.
We’re awkward in front of the camera. What if we don’t know what to do?
Yes. I’m based in Ann Arbor, Michigan and I travel often. If you’re planning something out of state (or out of the country), tell me what you’re thinking and I’ll let you know what’s possible and how travel is handled.
Do you travel for Elopements?
Whenever you can. Some dates book far out, but last-minute plans can work too—especially for weekday elopements. If you have a date in mind, reach out and I’ll let you know what availability looks like.
How far in advance should we reach out?
We’ll build a plan with flexibility. If we need to adjust timing, shift locations, or lean into a different vibe, I’ll help you make those calls without spiraling. Weather can absolutely be part of the story—and we’ll make sure you still have a day that feels perfectly aligned.
What if the weather does its thing?
You’ll receive a curated gallery that tells the full story, not just highlights. The exact number depends on coverage and what your day looks like, but you can expect a complete set of images with plenty of in-between moments. After you inquire, I’ll share delivery timing and what to expect based on your plans.
How many photos will we receive, and when?
Of course! Elopements can be just the two of you or include a small group—whatever feels right. If you’re bringing guests, we’ll build the timeline around them too so it still feels intimate and unrushed.
Can we bring family or friends?
Yes! If you’re planning something intimate with a bit more structure (a small wedding day, a dinner, a few events), I still approach it the same way—calm guidance, honest moments, and photos that feel real. Tell me what you’re planning and I’ll point you to the best fit.
Do you photograph small weddings too?
There are so many! I’ll share ideas that fit your plans and help you narrow it down depending on your vibe, season, accessibility, and how private you want it to be.
